Our Mission
The Dover Church of Christ exists to fulfill the mission Jesus has left for us: To make disciples who glorify God by living, loving, and leading like Jesus.
We seek God’s glory as our top priority. We hope to do this by following in the footsteps of Jesus.
Jesus lived with focused intentions. We desire to follow in His footsteps by living intentionally and being focused on the focuses of Jesus.
Jesus loved deeply and genuinely. We desire to be like Him in how we love each other and the people we meet.
Jesus led boldly and with building up others in mind. We desire to be like Him by learning to lead as He led and build up the body of Christ.
Our Vision
We seek to renew joy and unity in the body of Christ and in its disciple making mission. We seek to do this by:
Leading our members into spiritual maturity.
Encouraging all members to take ownership of the mission of the church in Dover.
Striving towards the creation of a faith based culture that supports families in their journey to know and love Jesus.
Developing the next generation of leaders for the church’s long term health.

Grounding
We will train each member to be a doer of the Word, We will offer our members training with the Discovery Bible Study program so they can be disciples who make disciples.
We will equip our members with tools that will help them grow in their personal devotion to Christ. We will be offering resources to aid in daily prayer, daily time in the Word, and weekly Christian connection with other members outside of our gathering times.
This year, we will ground each member into what it means to be a follower of Jesus, what the Gospel means for their life, and how to enjoy and live the in the grace of God.
